Delete your account and data
You can ask us to delete your JeevanJodi account and the personal data linked to it at any time. This page explains how, what is removed, and what we must keep.

The quickest way: in the app
- Open the JeevanJodi app and sign in with your mobile number.
- Go to Profile, then Settings, then Delete account.
- Confirm with the one-time passcode we send to your number.
Your profile is hidden from other members straight away. You then have 14 days to change your mind by signing in and cancelling. After that, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
If you cannot use the app
Send us a request with the form below. Because we cannot check who you are on this page, our privacy team will contact the registered number to confirm the request before deleting anything.
You can also email support@jeevanjodi.net and tell us the mobile number on your account. We confirm every request through the registered number.
What is deleted
- Your profile, biodata, partner preferences and photos.
- Identity documents and selfies you submitted for verification.
- Your mobile number, email address and date of birth.
- Your saved profiles, saved searches, search history, notifications and device records.
- Access for any family co-pilots linked to your profile, with their notes and suggestions.
- The text of messages you sent, and any attachments. People you spoke to will see a note that the message was removed.
- The text of your support tickets.
- Any data export files you requested.
What we keep, and why
These records are kept after deletion, no longer linked to your contact details. The periods are our current retention schedule and may change.

- Banned accounts. If an account was banned, we keep a keyed, one-way hash of its mobile number so that the number cannot be used to register again. We do not keep the number itself.
- Data under a legal hold. If a court, regulator or law-enforcement request requires us to preserve data, deletion waits until that hold ends.
- Backups. Deletion removes data from the live service. Copies held in system backups are not removed immediately.
Deleting some data without closing your account
In the app you can remove photos, edit or clear any part of your profile, hide your profile from discovery, and download a copy of your data from Settings, then Privacy. Verification documents are deleted automatically 90 days after the verification decision.
